Famous local churches include Wesely church, St. Mary's church adding to the typical cosmopolitan culture of the city. This GHMC part also has some major private companies’ base in the area such as ITC, Infosys, Intergraph and Coromandel International. The Secunderabad Railway Station is the headquarters of South Central Railway. Secunderabad also one of the legislative assembly constituencies of Hyderabad with an average rate of a property being INR 3,900/ sq ft. Secunderabad is an academic and educational hub of the City housing several popular primaries, secondary and higher education institutions. Research institutes such as National Institute of Nutrition, Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, The English and Foreign Languages University, Osmania University, National Geophysical Research Institute are situated in Secunderabad. TSRTC buses, Auto rickshaws, and MMTS are the major mediums of transport in this vibrant multi-ethnic city.
