Chittoor Road is one of the important roads in the city of Cochin, Kerala. The road is named after the Chittoor Temple as it ends at the main gate of the temple. The road is one of the oldest roads in Ernakulam and was built to enable the journey of Cochin Maharaja’s annual pilgrimage from the mainland to Chittoor Temple. The road covers a distance of 8.2 km and connects the south of Ernakulam with Chittoor to the north of Ernakulam. It is connected to Radha Oil Mill Road and Mariyath Lane. Prominent places along the road include Ganga Hardwares, Merin Traders, St. Joseph’s High School, Cinzac Sales & Services, Spares Corporation and more.
